The problem
Traditional PDF resumes become outdated quickly. Every career update requires editing the document, exporting another copy, and redistributing it to recruiters, clients, or employers. Professionals also struggle to maintain a single online destination that brings together their experience, skills, projects, achievements, and professional identity while remaining easy to share.
What we built
We built Profeler as a web-based professional profile and resume platform where users can create and maintain a live career profile. Instead of repeatedly sending updated PDF files, users can share one permanent Profeler link. Changes made to their profile become available through the same link without requiring recipients to download another version. The platform also supports personalized profile URLs such as name.profeler.com, giving professionals a cleaner and more memorable way to present their personal brand online.
Our role
We handled the product architecture, backend development, API design, database structure, authentication, subscription logic, profile management, custom domain infrastructure, deployment, and ongoing technical development of the platform. The work also included designing systems for scalable resume management, custom profile URLs, domain verification, subscription-based feature access, and infrastructure integrations.
Profeler was designed around the idea that a professional profile should behave more like a website than a static document. Users can maintain their professional information from one dashboard and publish updates without changing the URL they previously shared. The platform uses subscription-based access to provide different account capabilities while keeping the core experience accessible to users who only need a simple professional profile. Custom domains and personalized Profeler subdomains extend the platform beyond resume hosting and give users more control over their professional identity. The underlying architecture was designed so additional professional tools, integrations, analytics, AI-assisted profile features, and portfolio capabilities can be introduced as the platform grows.
